Bell
A bell is fitted to your handlebars. It can be heard within a range of
50 m.
The bell is a safety device for your bike and as such must be present
on your handlebars.
Wearing a helmet
For safe use, wearing a bicycle helmet is strongly recommended. It
reduces the risk of skull injuries in the case of falls.
WARNING:
wearing a helmet is obligatory for children
under 14 years old whether they are riders or passengers.
For more information, ask your retailer.
II.
Quick start
WARNING: read the instructions and safety recommendations in
this manual carefully before using the power-assisted bicycle.
Your safety and the proper functioning of your bicycle depend on
this.
Once your bike is set up, press the "ON/OFF" button (20) of the battery,
then step on it and start pedalling. After two turns of the pedal, the
power-assisted engine will start and provide you with additional driving
force. A slight humming can be heard, indicating that the engine is on.
If you stop pedalling, the engine turns off and the bike slows down, then
stops like a standard bike. Press on one of the brake levers to brake.
