external hard drive in real time as the DVR continues to write the data onto its internal
hard drive.
3. USB 2.0 MEMORY STICK
The ease of portability and versatility of an alternate storage medium, USB 2.0
compliant memory sticks are gaining popularity. The memory stick allows taking snap
shots of individual pictures during playback. Please note that the backup icon will blink
if the memory stick is below 1 GB.
Insert the memory stick into the USB 2.0 Port and
the backup icon will appear and start blinking.
Start the playback of the recorded data by
pressing
Play , Time Search or Alarm Search .
Select and bring one channel to full screen view
mode, then pause the playback at the desired
time or the event.
Pause the playback, and then press
Backup .
SNAP SHOT will be displayed, and the current
screen will be saved onto the memory stick
as .picture format file.
The files can be retrieved and displayed using the Local Player in Snapshot folder.
