3- Brine Position:
Hard water enters the unit from the valve inlet and flows up into the injector
housing and down through the nozzle and orifice to draw brine from the brine tank. Brine
solution flows down through the minerals and enters the center tube from the bottom distributor
and flows up through the center tube. It flows around the piston and exits the unit through the
drain line.
