3. Operation
Before using the wireless sensor, you must first set up the H2iQ
All-in-One Whole Home
Water Management System, following the instructions provided with the system.
Batteries provided with the H2iQ wireless leak sensor are designed to last
approximately two years with normal use. The LED on the top of the sensor will blink
red when the battery is low and needs to be replaced.
NOTICE
Watts does not recommend rechargeable batteries. For best results use alkaline batteries.
Sensor Setup
Installing the Batteries
1. Turn the sensor over and use a T10 Torx bit or a flat-head screwdriver to remove
the three screws on the bottom.
2. Remove the top cover and put it aside with the screws.
3. Insert the two AA batteries supplied with the device, as shown below.
4. Put the cover back on and screw in place.
