5 - Error Conditions, Problems and Solutions - Message List

JAM AT SIDE TRIM 
OUTFEED

Open and then close the top cover 
of the side-trimmer.

Then, if necessary, open the top 
cover of the side-trimmer and 
check for paper trimmings or 
obstructions.  Close the top cover 
of the side-trimmer.

If the message still does not clear, 
use the side-trimmer mains ON/
OFF switch.  Turn the side-trimmer 
OFF, wait at least 5 seconds and 
then turn the side-trimmer ON. 

If the problem continues, then call 
your service engineer.

JAM AT STACKER 
INFEED

There is a jam in the stacker 
infeed.  Remove the  books from 
the stacker infeed.  Press the reset 
button on the stacker.

JAM AT STACKER 
OUTFEED

There is a jam in the stacker out-
feed or there are paper-trimmings 
in the stacker outfeed.  Remove 
the books from the stacker out-
feed.  Check for paper-trimmings 
and remove them if present.  
Press the reset button on the 
stacker.

JAM BEFORE TRIM-
MER

There is a book jammed before the 
trimmer.  Open the main deck to 
remove the book.

bridge cover, lift the connecting 
bridge and remove the paper jam.
