Function name:
MAC Alias
Function description:
MAC Alias function is used to let you assign a MAC address a plain English name. This will help you
tell which MAC address belongs to which user in the illegal access report. At the initial time, it shows
all pairs of the existed alias name and MAC address.
There are three MAC alias functions in this function folder, including MAC Alias Add, MAC Alias Edit
and MAC Alias Delete. You can choose
Create/Edit
to add/modify a new or an existed alias name
for a specified MAC address, or mark an existed entry to delete it. An alias name must be composed
of A-Z, a-z and 0-9 only and has a maximum length of 15 characters.

Function description:
In the MAC Alias function, MAC Alias Add/Edit function is used to let you add or modify an
association between MAC address and a plain English name. You can choose
Create/Edit
to add a
new record with name.
As to MAC Alias Delete function is used to let you remove an alias name to a MAC address. You can
select an existed MAC address or alias name to remove.
