Spanning Tree Configuration (STP) Configuration
The Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) is a standardized method (IEEE 802.1D) used to avoid loops
in switched networks. When STP is enabled, only one path is active between any two nodes on
the network at a time. Once Spanning Tree Protocol has been enabled, advanced functions can
be configured. It is recommend that STP is enabled to ensure a single active path on the
network.
