Check the tightness of the feed water adapter and make sure there is no water
leakage.
•
When the quick-connect fitting leaks, do not replace only the lock clip. You must
replace the entire quick-connect fitting.
•
Do not omit any lock clips.
•
Do not lay the system on its side, on its back, or upside down.
•
Do not use a filter that has not been flushed. Discard the first 4 tanks of water,
then the fifth tank of water is drinkable.
•
Do not cut the tubing with tools other than a utility knife. Do not bend the tubing.
•
Use the new quick-connect fittings that come with the system. The old quick-
connect fittings cannot be reused.
•
Do not insert the drain tubing into the sewer. It must be connected to the
drainpipe using the drain saddle.
•
There is no filtered water in the tank
a. There is water inside the system: Turn off the feed water adapter and remove
the tank. Tilt the system 45°and pour out the water inside. Turn on the feed water
adapter to start up the system.
b.
The water pressure is low: Check and confirm that the water pressure is between
29 psi and 87 psi.
c. A tubing is crimped: Check to ensure that all tubing is installed correctly and
completely.
•
The filtered water tastes bad
a.
The filter has expired: Replace the filter according to schedule.
b.
You have not used the system for a long time: Discard the remaining water in the
tank and in the next tank of water.
c. The water supply quality is poor: Make sure the water supply is municipal tap water.
•
Abnormally low filtered water output
a.
The filter is clogged: Flush or replace the filter. If you are using well water as
the source, ensure that the feed water has gone through a pre-filtration system.
Otherwise, large particles in the well water will easily clog the filter and shorten the
filter life.
b. A tubing is crimped or there is a leak from the tubing connection: Check to ensure
that all tubing is installed correctly and completely.
c.
The water temperature is low: Use the system at a temperature of 39-100°F.

Check all the joints, fittings, and tubing connections to locate the leakage. Make
sure the filter is well installed.
