CONTROL FEATURES
The water conditioner must be installed with the inlet, outlet, and drain connections made in
accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations. Installation must meet applicable plumbing
codes
.
START UP INSTRUCTION “BACKWASHING “BW” AND RAPID RINSE “RR”
1. The startup sequence MUST be allowed to finish its entire set of cycles.
2. Pushing and holding the Extra Cycle button will initiate this.
3. Backwash is a rapid upward flow of water that loosens the media bed and flushes particles,
dirt and sediment filtered in the bed out to the drain.
NOTE! Water should be clear at the
end of the (BW) cycle if not repeat until water is clear.
4. Rapid Rinse is a fast flow of water down through the media tank that follows a Backwash
cycle. This flushes all remaining organics from the tank and packs the carbon bed for
efficiency.
NOTE ! Water should be clear at the end of the (RR) cycle if not
repeat until water is clear.
5. Momentarily push the Extra Cycle button this will que up a cycle for that night at 12:00.
