TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem

Cause

Solution

Engine will not start.

No fuel.

Add fuel.

The battery is flat

Recharge or replace

Check oil level

Add oil if needed

Valve clearance is not correct

Adjust the clearance as per operational
manual

Piston ring worn or rings in wrong
place

Change and adjust piston ring

Bolts of cylinder head are not tight Tighten the bolts

Engine is running but no output.

AC circuit breaker is turned ‘OFF’

Put the main AC switch to the “ON” position

The contact of socket is not good

Adjust the feet of socket

AVR is broken

Replace AVR

Other.
