Ginger-Beet-Carrots-Apple Juice
Major Nutrients: Vitamins A, C
Ingredients:
1-inch piece of ginger (½ oz.)
1 beet (8 oz.)
2 large carrots
1 apple (8 oz.)
Cut beet into chunks. Cut stalks off carrots and divide into 1- to 2-inch long pieces.
Core and slice apple. Add ingredients (with ¼ cup water) to juicer. If desired, thin
with additional water.
Orange-Almond-Sweet Potato-Apple Juice
Major Nutrients: Iron, Calcium
Ingredients:
2 oranges (5 oz. each)
¼ cup whole, raw almonds
1 sweet potato (≈4 oz.)
1 apple (8 oz.)
Peel and cut oranges. Chop sweet potato into chunks. Core and slice apple. Add in-
gredients (with ½ cup water) to juicer.
Lychees-Peaches-Coconut Water Juice
Major Nutrients: Vitamin C, Iron,
Magnesium
Ingredients:
1 (20-oz.) can of lychees in syrup OR
20 lychees, peeled and seeded
1 cup thawed sliced peaches (≈7 oz.)
¾ cup coconut water (or regular water)
If using canned lychees, drain syrup from can and rinse lychees. Add ingredients
(except coconut water/regular water) to juicer. Mix fruit juice with coconut water or
regular water.
