Safety precautions: Service and maintenance

Servicing accumulator systems

Welding or using a torch near a pressurised accumulator
or line may cause the accumulator to burst and/or the
lines to be accidentally cut. This can result in the fluid or
gas escaping from these components which can, in turn,
result in serious injury.

To mitigate this risk, do not weld or use a torch near a
pressurised accumulator or line and, before removing an
accumulator, ensure you relieve the pressure from the
hydraulic system.
