Tips for sawing
• Always press the sawing shoe

firmly against the workpiece.
• Switch on the reciprocating saw and wait till it attains the maximum number of
strokes.
• First press the on/off switch

and then guide the saw blade to the
workpiece.
• Saw through the workpiece with uniform pressure and speed.
• If the saw blade gets stuck, switch off the saw immediately and pull the saw
blade out of the cut.
• Switch off the reciprocating saw after finishing each cut.
Base material Lubricants
Steel Oil
Aluminium Turpentine or paraffin
Brass, copper, cast iron No lubricant
Remove the saw blade regularly from the cut to
ensure cooling
To avoid premature wear of the saw blade, use a suitable lubricant when sawing
metal.
