We strongly recommend:
Residual Current Operated Devices (RCD’s) “Every connection point needs to be
protected with its own residual current operated device (RCD) with a calculation
difference stream, which shouldn’t be more than 30mA. The selected residual
current operated device (RCD) needs to turn off all active wires including the neutral
wire. The connection point of the selected residual current operated device (RCD)
should be at least a Type A. If the characteristic of the charging performance is not
known, referring to the possible DC fault currents of more than 6mA, protection
measures need to be taken if DC fault currents appear, e.g. using a residual current
operated device (RCD) Type B or Type A (EV).”
