8.5 Function buttons / display data / menu description of the remote control
Overview functions remote control display:

8.6 Selecting the channel on the remote control / synchronizing the lamp and remote control
•
Before first using the device, insert sufficiently charged compatible batteries (2x AAA 1.5V)
into the remote control.
•
Switch the device on with the ON/OFF switch (9) (if not already done). The <ON/OFF> functi
-
on off the remote control will not work if the power switch on the lamp is switched off.
• Press the ON/OFF switch on the remote control once briefly to activate the display.
• Activate the channel selection mode, NO LED lights up in the display of the remote control.
•
If the channel selection is not set, press the <Menu> button of the remote control. Each time
you press the <Menu> button on the remote control, you switch between setting the bright
-
ness, color temperature and channel selection.
•
Check the currently selected settings in the device and remote-control display. The channel
selected on the remote control must be the same as the channel set on the device.
• The currently set channel is displayed.
• Set the desired channel by pressing the plus <+> or minus <-> buttons on the remote control.
• Channels from 1 to 99 can be set.
•
Press the <Menu> button again to confirm the channel selection and to return to the settings
menu for brightness adjustment (basic settings).
•
Check whether the set data on the remote control and the lamp match. If necessary, set the
correct values on the lamp as described in section 8.4.
• The lamp is now ready to be controlled via the remote control.
•
The display of the remote control has an automatic switch off function. To reactivate the dis

play, please press the <ON/OFF> button briefly.
8.7 Switching the device on and off / standby mode via the remote control

Switch the device on with the ON/OFF switch (if not already done). The <ON/OFF> function
on the remote control will not work if the power switch on the lamp is switched off.
•
Press the ON/OFF button on the remote control once briefly to activate the remote control.
•
Ensure that the device and the remote control have been correctly paired up and the same
channels set. (See previous section 8.6).
•
By pressing the <ON/OFF> switch on the remote control for a longer time (around 2-3 se
-
conds), you can switch the lamp off (set the standby mode).
•
By pressing the <ON/OFF> button on the remote control BRIEFLY again, you can switch on
the lamp with the remote control.
•
The remote control has an automatic switch off function. To reactivate the display, please
press the <ON/OFF> button briefly.

NOTE:
Please note that in case of using several devices of Walimex pro Niova 60/100/200 Plus model
series, you can control all devices by Bi Color remote control version. But it´s not possible to
control a Bi Color device with the remote control of a Daylight lamp.
