• The
Glide
button enables or disabled the glide function. It also uses a dedicated
LED to show the glide state.
• The
Env. Select
key selects one of four parameter groups for the envelope dials.
The currently selected group is indicated by a LED. The parameters for each group
are printed on the XT panel.
Switching the Octave Setting on the XTk
The XTk features a built-in 4 octave keyboard that can be used to play internal sounds as
well as to generate MIDI notes for external devices. As a default, C1 is the lowest note on
the keyboard, C3 is the middle note and C5 is the highest. To cover a wider octave range,
the whole keyboard can be shifted one octave up or down via the corresponding buttons in
the Controller Section

This is how you change the keyboard’s octave setting:
1. Press the
Octave Down
key. The keyboard is shifted one octave down from the
normal setting now, i.e. the whole range is from C0 to C4.
2. Now press the
Octave Up
key. The keyboard is shifted one octave up from the
normal setting now, i.e. the whole range is from C2 to C6.
3. To return to the default setting, press
Octave Down
and
Octave Up
simultaneously. Now the range is from C1 to C5 again.
