1. ENSURE THE CABLE IS SECURELY CONNECTED TO A POWER SOURCE AND
TO THE CHARGING CLIPS.
9. CHECK THAT THE POWRLINK ZERO POWER POD AND YOUR SHOE DO NOT TOUCH
CAUTION
Spacer
With pedals installed on the crank arm, clip your shoe onto the pedal. Remove
your foot from the shoe.
Rotate your shoe around the spindle to check for clearance.
If there is adequate space between the shoe and the power pod (they should
not touch at any point) you do not need to use the
Spacer
.
If there is not adequate space, then you will need to use the
Spacer
to provide
more space and prevent potential damage to your shoe. Go back to step 2 in
the cleat installation instructions to install the
Spacer
between the
Base Plate
and
Housing
.
Repeat the steps on the opposite side.
Failure to check
for pod and shoe
clearance may result
in damage to your
shoe and/or
POWRLINK ZERO.
Do not use the pedals if your
shoe comes in contact with
the power pod. This will void
the warranty.
