1. INTRODUCTION
This software package is for use with the DST400, DST/DSX500 and DST600 family of
Digital Thermometers. There are 2 versions of software, one for customer use and one
for use by the factory
. The version is indicated on the first line under the “Poll for
Module” button. The 2 versions are:
1.1. DSTCAL
Allows the following:

Setting of LCD Refresh (display update rate) for all models;

R0 Value for all RTD models;

Selection of Thermocouple Type for all Thermocouple models;

Programming of the 4-mA value, 20-mA value and burnout selection on the
DSX models;

A
ssociation and enabling of probe ID’s for DST600 series Models;

Setting of Low Battery Check rate;

Calibration of
the meter’s measurement electronics, resistance input for RTD
models and mV input for T/C models;

Calibration of the meter and probe using an ice bath for RTD versions;

Calibration of the Cold Junction Compensation electronics for T/C versions;

Calibration of the 4-20 mA output circuit for DSX models
NOTE: This software does not calibrate the transmitter section of Models
DST620 or DST621,
which require the transmitter manufacturer’s software
and interface module.
1.2. DSTCAL-Pro
Only available for the Wahl Factory, same as DSTCAL but also allows setting of
the unit
’s serial number and setting of the Factory default calibration values.
