2.1.1.2 Description
The AS-Interface module 751-4001 is an economical solution for a fieldbus-
independent and flexible connection of actuators from the field and the control
cabinet. The module is in accordance with AS-Interface specification V.3.0.
The module works in standard address area and can be set to one of 31
addresses ranging from 1 ... 31.
The voltage for the sensors is supplied via the AS-Interface cable and is short
circuit protected.
The voltage for the actuators is supplied via the AUX black cable.
The AS-Interface module 751-4001 provides 4 digital 24 V / 2 A outputs.
The actuators are connected using M12x1 round plugs. The AS-Interface
cable and the AUX cable can be connected directly.
LEDs indicate the status of outputs, the AS-Interface and actuator supply as
well as a short circuit or overload condition.
