Temperature Measurements (RTD & TC) with High
Resolution
4.4.4.1 Standard Format/Celsius
With the setting “High Resolution,” the I/O module converts the measured values
of the temperature sensors (RTDs or TCs) into temperature values and outputs
the conversion results in degrees Celsius to two decimal places.
The temperature values are represented in one word (16 bits) with a resolution of
one digit per 0.01 °C.
The numerical range used corresponds to the defined temperature range of −50
°C … +150 °C and is output accordingly as a process value in the range
−5000 … +15000.
Exception:
With
Type C
TC sensors, the defined temperature range
corresponds to 0 °C…+150 °C, i.e. 0…15000 as a process value.
