7.2.4 Up Counter
To set the counter, proceed as follows:
1. First set the counter to the decimal value 100 (hexadecimal 0x64) via "Set
counter," by setting the counter value in the output data:

2. Report the counter value as valid in the control byte with bit 5 (set counter),
so that it is applied as the output value:

3. Wait for feedback from the counter in status byte bit 5 (counter set):

5. For counting upward, wait for the first and additional count pulses:
There must be power at the input “U/D.”
First, make sure the counting is enabled with +24 V at the input “U/D.”
