9.26 Installing the Drive Pump

Prerequisites

Engine and adapter installed

Procedure

Follow the procedure below to install the drive pump.

1. Place a plastic sheet and a container under the machine to collect any liquid which

drains off. Dispose of this liquid in accordance with environmental protection legislation.

2. Remove the plug from the hydraulic hose

(d)

and connect the hydraulic hose to the

drive pump.

3. Apply Loctite 243 to the screws and secure the drive pump

(f)

to the adapter. Torque the

screws to 44 Nm (32 ft.lbs.).

4. Connect the hydraulic lines

to the drive pump.

5. Reconnect the control cable

(a)

The procedure install the drive pump is now complete.
