Chapter 5, Operating Instructions: Mounting the Mandrel on the Pipe

Screw the nuts onto the studs to secure the alignment
gauge. The gauge pieces should be tight against the
face plate. You may have to move the chuck out to
tighten the gauge against the face plate.
