Troubleshooting

The vacuum is hard to push

Solution: If you find the cleaner difficult to push on your particular carpet, you can remove the “wiper
blades” from the underside of the vacuum. These are very easy to

remove and in no way affect the

performance of the vacuum, they can also easily be refitted if required.

Simply locate the rubber wiper blades on the under-side of the vacuum which can be easily seen in
front of and just behind the brush roll. Once located, simply lift one end of the wiper blade and slide
out until completely detached.

The vacuum is not powering on when plugged in

Solution: Unplug the vacuum and visually check the power cord and plug for any signs of damage.

Solution: Check and replace the fuse in the plug.

The suction has decreased

Solution: Carry out the Cleaner Care steps on page 8 to ensure the dust container, filters, hose and
main floor head are all clean and free from any blockages.

The suction is still reduced but the above steps have been carried out

Solution: Check if the brushbar is rotating when the vacuum is switched on, if not carry out the steps
on page 9

to check and change the brushbar/belt.

The vacuum feels hot and is overheating

Solution: Carry out the maintenance of the dust container and filters steps on pages 7

 8.

There is an unpleasant smell from the vacuum

Solution: Carry out the maintenance of the dust container and filters steps on pages 7 - 8

and ensure

that the filters are completely dry being refitted into the vacuum.
