Known issues with the voice call function
• There will be three seconds silence between a voice call being
answered and the start of the message.
• If the voice call function calls a phone with an automatic answer-
ing machine, the VP- 580 will behave as if the call has been
answered.
• The VP- 580 does not support non-standard ringing tones. If the
VP- 580 calls a phone and an unexpected tone is received, an
error message will be generated.
Use the
Set Action
option to define what action is taken by the VP- 580
when an event occurs. The following options are available:
• Motion Detection
– sets up the motion detection feature.
• Video Lost
– generates an alarm when the video from the se-
