To configure a camera connected to the VP- 580 as a particular PTZ
device, follow these instructions:
1. Use the
Up
and
Down
arrow buttons to select the
PTZ device
field.
2. Use the
Left
and
Right
buttons to cycle through the available
device types until the correct device type is displayed.
3. Use the
Up
and
Down
arrow buttons to select the camera to
configure.
4. Press the
Right
arrow button to display
Yes
in the field to indicate
that a camera of the device type displayed is connected.
5. Repeat the procedure for all PTZ cameras connected to the VP-
580.
To set the timeout value for PTZ cameras connected to the VP-580:
1. Use the
Up
and
Down
arrow buttons to highlight the
Timeout
field.
2. Use the
Right
arrow key to increase the value and the
Left
arrow
key to decrease the value.
3. Press the
OK
button to confirm the new value.
3.3.7 TCP/IP
Use the
TCP/IP
menu to set the IP address of the VP-580, the gateway,
the subnet mask, the DNS server IP address, and the HTTP port. If you
