You can page all the Portable Handsets at the same time, as long as they are in your channel group, (see the
Channel
section under
ADVANCED OPERATIONS & FEATURES
section) by:
1. Press
the
button on the Portable Handset.
2. Press
the
button.
You can do this from any of the Portable Handsets. All the Portable Handsets will continue to ring until any one Portable
Handset answers the call.
The ID Exchange feature works by having the Base Unit send a signal every 40 seconds to the Portable Handset (it is
communicating with) and the Portable Handset bounces the signal back to the Base Unit. The purpose of this feature is
for the Base Unit to know it is still in contact with the Portable Handset. If the signal that the Base Unit sends out does not
bounce back, the Base Unit knows the Portable Handset is either off or it is out of range.
Note:
The default setting if for this feature to be OFF.
You can activate the ID Exchange feature by:
1. Press
button on the Portable Handset.
2. Press
the
buttons until you reach the
screen.
3. Press
the
button.
4. Press
the
buttons until you reach the
ID Exchange” screen.
5. Press
the
button.
6. Press
the
buttons to set the feature to
screen.
7. Press
the
button.
8. Press
the
button twice to exit the programming functions.
