Lift the bumper into position
Pull the cable harness for the sensors through the hole for the
left guide of the bumper and pull in the cable from the inside

Illustration A applies to the V70
Guide the hooks (6) for the bumper into the guides (7) in the side
brackets. Press at the upper edge and in the middle so that the
hooks catch
Install the screws and clips removed in step 6.
Illustration B applies to the XC 70
Reinstall the bumper. Locate the ends of the bumper (1) in the
rails (2). Push in
Reinstall the 4 x nuts. Tighten the nuts. Tighten to 18 Nm (13
lbf.ft.).
Hint
This operation is easier with two people.
Note!
Ensure that the loose mountings (A) for the sides of the
bumper are in position on the right and left sides.
