Flooded Engine

To clear a flooded engine:

1 Press button at

to disengage the shift mecha-

nism. Lever will then control throttle only.

2 Advance the lever to the FULL THROTTLE

posi-

tion.

3 Try to start the engine, turn the ignition switch to

(Start). If the engine does not start quickly, release
the key and then try again.

4 After the engine starts, move the throttle back to the

neutral position to return to normal operating mode.
