Voltima VST Mains Power Supply (MPC) –
Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)
The switching time is less than < 0.1 seconds, giving a uninterruptible power supply (UPS).
The inverter will automatically start the SLEEP mode after 10 minutes, if there is no load
attached.
The Voltima VST inverters are suitable for additional operation with an external mains feed
into the vehicle (shore power).
The sockets on the unit serve both as a 230V output in the case of a mains feed-in and as a
230V mains power supply in the case of pure inverter operation (no shore power connected).
Switching between mains and inverter operation is fully automatic. The unit is designed in
such a way that it automatically switches to mains operation when connected to the mains
(shore power). When shore power is connected, the two sockets are supplied with 230V mains
voltage.
The power discharge from the battery is stopped. This state is indicated by 3 LEDs (green-red-
yellow) that flash every 2 seconds. As long as the mains voltage is present, the inverter cannot
be restarted.
