OPERATION
Charge the internal rechargeable battery completely before first-time use.
Verify that your mobile device’s connection values correspond with the
product’s connection values (see technical data).
Do not short-circuit the USB connections.
The product is not suitable for charging tablet PCs.
a) Charging the internal rechargeable battery
1. Turn the lamp head until the line is aligned with the OFF position.
2. Connect the micro USB plug to the IN socket.
3. Connect both USB-A plugs to two available USB ports on a computer.
You may also use a power adapter with USB output for power supply. Make sure the
power adapter features an output power of 1000 mA. In this case, use the USB-A plug
which is directly connected to the micro USB plug.
4. The internal rechargeable battery is now charging. The LED ring lights up red during
charging.
5. Once the internal rechargeable battery is fully charged, the LED ring lights up green.
6. Disconnect the Y cable from the product and the computer when the internal rechargeable
battery has been charged completely. The product is now ready for use.
Charging takes max. 4 hours, depending on the charge status of the rechargeable
battery.
For infrequent use, we recommend fully charging the internal rechargeable battery once
every three months to maintain maximum performance.
b) Charging a mobile device
1. Connect the USB-A plug to the OUT socket. In this case, use the USB-A plug which is
directly connected to the micro USB plug.
2. Connect the micro USB plug to the mobile device.
3. Monitor the charging process. Once the charging has been completed, disconnect the
cable from the product and the mobile device.
If the rechargeable battery capacity of the mobile device is higher than 1900 mAh,
the rechargeable battery of the mobile device cannot be charged completely but only
partially during one charging cycle.
You cannot use the LED flashlight and hand warmer when charging the rechargeable
battery of the mobile device.
When the charge status of the internal rechargeable battery is too low, the LED ring
lights up red. In such a case, recharge the internal rechargeable battery.
c) LED flashlight and hand warmer
Turn the lamp head until the line is aligned with the desired function.

When the hand warmer function has been activated, put the product in the storage
pouch in order to prolong its operating time.
You cannot use the LED flashlight and hand warmer when charging the rechargeable
battery of the mobile device.
When the charge status of the internal rechargeable battery is too low, the LED ring
lights up red. In such a case, recharge the internal rechargeable battery.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical
solutions as they can cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
• Disconnect the Y cable from the product before cleaning.
• Never submerge the product in water.
• There are no components located inside the product you need to maintain. Never open/
dismantle the product.
• To clean the product, a dry, soft and clean cloth is sufficient. Do not apply too much
pressure to the housing to prevent scratching.
• You can easily remove dust using a long-haired, soft and clean brush.
DISPOSAL
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant
statutory regulations.
The built-in rechargeable battery must be disposed of by a specialist.
b) Rechargeable batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used rechargeable
batteries. Disposing of them in the household waste is prohibited.
Contaminated rechargeable batteries are labelled with this symbol to indicate that
disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy metals
involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on rechargeable
batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).
Used rechargeable batteries can be returned to collection points in your
municipality, our stores or wherever rechargeable batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
