Set temperature unit “Unit”
Use the function “Unit” to set the displayed temperature unit.
Switch on the meter by briefly pushing the measuring button (5).
Select the setting menu “Unit/Mem/E” by pushing the button “MODE” within the pre-set deactivation time.
Get to the setting menu “Unit” via button “F1”.
Select the unit in which the measured values are to be displayed.
°C = Degrees Celsius
°F = Degrees Fahrenheit
Use the button “MODE” to get back to the setting menu.
The change affects all measured values. The saved data are also displayed in the chosen unit and converted
when it is changed.
Setting emission degree “E”
The meter has a setting for the emission degree. Thus, you can achieve precise measured values in different mate-
rials and surfaces. The emissions degree can be set individually from 0.10 to 1.00 or across an integrated material
table with common metal surfaces.
Switch on the meter by briefly pushing the measuring button (5).
Select the setting menu “Unit/Mem/E” by pushing the button “MODE” within the pre-set deactivation time.
Get to the setting menu “E” via button “F3”.
Individually setting the emission degree
The emission degree can be set in steps of 0.01 from 0.10 to 1.00 via the function buttons “F1” and “F3”.
Confirm your input with the measuring button (5) or push the button “MODE”.
