c) Charging program with discharge function
When NiCd, NiMH and Eneloop batteries are inserted, you can use
this charging program to discharge the batteries before commencing
the charging process. This ensures that the batteries are charged to
the highest possible capacity. This helps to compensate for losses in
capacity that may occur due to the memory effect.
• If the battery type is not automatically detected, set the battery type
to NiCd, NiMH or Eneloop.
• Select "Charge” mode.
• Go to "Activation Charge" and press the settings button (6) to
switch to "Enable". The charger will discharge and then recharge
the batteries.
"Activation Charge" can only be used for NiCd, NiMH and
Eneloop batteries.
d) Standby mode
If no batteries are inserted / all batteries are fully charged, the charger
automatically switches to standby mode after 5 minutes of inactivity. To
wake the charger, press any button or insert a battery.
The charger does not trickle charge.
