11. Disposal
Used electrical and electronic devices are recyclable and may not be disposed of in the household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the device in accordance with applicable statutory guidelines at
collection points in your municipality. Disposing of used electrical/electronic devices in the household waste
is prohibited.
Disposing of used batteries!
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries/rechargeable batteries.
Disposing of them in the household waste is prohibited.
Used (rechargeable) batteries containing hazardous substances are marked with the following symbols,
which indicates that disposal in the household waste is prohibited. The designations for the heavy metals
involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead. Used (rechargeable) batteries can be returned to
collection points in your municipality, our stores or wherever (rechargeable) batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
