7. Product description
The analog multimeter (henceforth referred to as multimeter) features a shock-absorbent dial instrument. The scale
is outfitted with a mirror to allow exact readings at all times. The meter movement is suspended by a metal band (taut
band) to guarantee lossless measurement operation.
The multimeter can be used in any operating position. The stand at the back allows the multimeter to be set up in a
slightly inclined position which makes reading the display during measurement operation easier. The integrated and
removable side rubber guard shields the multimeter from blows.
The current measuring ranges are secured against overload with a ceramic high-performance fuse.
Use the rotary switch to select the desired measuring function and measuring range. The multimeter is off when the
switch is at position “OFF”. Always turn off the multimeter when it is not in use.
The multimeter is intended for use in both the hobby and professional sectors.
The following batteries are required for power supply:
1 x 9 V block + 2 x micro (AAA).
There are protective transport caps in the included test leads’ angled plugs. Remove them before inserting the plugs
into the DMM’s sockets.
The caps may be reattached after use for protection during transport.
The scale indicator can be calibrated using the adjustment screw. Calibrate the scale indicator before each use to
avoid measuring errors.
