Radio, phone and navigation

Aerial - onboard power supply

connection

The AM, FM, TV and DAB aerials need antenna
mounts that are located inside the doors. To ensure a
perfect earth connection to the doors, the doors have
an earth connection to the body earth via a separate
earth cable.

Interference in the AM reception area is minimised in
accordance with the vehicle equipment by installing
an AM filter for all electrical connections to
components that are located inside the exterior
mirror (exterior mirror heater, adjustment, etc.).
The AM filter is part of the door cable kit.

The AM aerial is always located in the left exterior

mirror, therefore no filter is required on the right side.
