Using Manner and Lock Mode Quickly
Manner Mode (quickly set to vibrate mode)
Use the Manner Mode in public places.
- When in the idle mode, activate the Manner Mode
quickly by pressing [*] for 3 seconds.
- When the Manner Mode is set, the key tones are silent,
and the phone is set to vibrate.
Lock Mode (Quick)
You can use the Lock Mode to prevent others from using
your phone. When in the idle mode:
To activate the Lock Mode quickly
… press [#] for 3
seconds. The Lock Mode setting
is displayed.
To cancel the Lock Mode
… press [OK], select Unlock,
then enter your 4-digit password (
default is 0000
).
Mute
The Mute function prevents the other party from hearing
your voice, but allows you to hear the other party.
While on a call, the Mute function automatically
becomes available and appears on the LCD.
To activate Mute
… press the [OK] button.
To cancel Mute
… press the [OK] button again.
The phone remains in Manner Mode even
if you turn it off and back on.
To cancel Manner Mode, press [*] for 3
seconds to switch into Normal Mode.
