Messages [Main Menu + 3]
You can send/receive a short text message to/from any
other IP phones in a
TeleniumIP system. The message
may contain up to 100 characters and you can send the
message to up to 20 different numbers.
Write Message
1. Press the [Down] navigation key, then skip to Step 5.
-or-
2. Press the [LSK] to access the Main Menu .
3. Press [Down] navigation key to scroll to “Messages”.
4. Press [OK].
Write Message is already selected.
5. Press [OK] to enter Short Message Service (SMS) area.
6. Enter message in the “Contents” area, and press [OK].
7. Enter the station numbers in the “To” area, then press
[OK] to send the message.

When in the Contents Area … you can press the [LSK] to
access these menu items: select a prepared comment
from a Template, choose an Emoticon for insertion into
your Contents, or search the Phone Book.
CONDITIONS
» When you send a message, you will not be able to tell
if your message has been received.
» If you send a message to an invalid destination, the
LCD will display “Access Denied”.
» If you receive an incoming call while writing a
message, your message will disappear.
