Edge Fix
The
Edge Fix
controls are located in the
ChromaKey
feature tab.
Matte Soft
If a studio environment is not ideal, foreground may have unnatural zig-zag edges.
Matte Soft
smoothes these edges and enable
gradual transitions from the foreground to the background. It can also be used to remove unwanted edges caused by lighting. Large
matte soft value can be used to match a sharp foreground to a blurry background. The adjustment range 0~100% corresponds to
blurring 0~7 pixels horizontally.
Example. Removing foreground edges with matte soft

Shrink
Some cameras create black or white edges instead of blue or green edges (which can be removed by the chromakey). If these
unnatural black or white edges remain after adjusting
Matte Generation
controls, the
Shrink
control should be used to correct
this problem. The left and right edges can be individually shrunk by 0~10 pixels with a precision of 0.01 pixels.
