VI-GX1-4BI-22002

The leakage test must be carried out before the first use, annually and after replacing

or servicing gas components. Smoking or open flames are strictly forbidden during

the test. All sources of ignition must be removed beforehand.

• Check that all knobs are in the "OFF" position.

• Make a soapy water solution (half liquid soap, half water).

• Open the cylinder valve.

• Apply soapy water to all terminals and connections on regulators, hose,

distributor and valves.

• If bubbles form, this is a leak. Leakage is eliminated by tightening the fitting or

having a dealer replace the part. Turn off the gas supply first.

• If the leak persists, turn off the cylinder valve, remove the regulator and have the

grill checked by the dealer. The device may only be used again once the leak has

been repaired.

• After the successful leak test, turn off the gas supply.
