IV.II ASSEMBLY OF THE ROTISSERIE KIT
IV.III BEFORE FIRST USE
• Remove the warming racks, before starting the rotisserie burner.
• To use the rotisserie spit, the metal angles of the spit are mounted on the
windshield at the holes provided. This can be done on the right as well as on the
left side.
• Now put the rotisserie motor on the mounting bracket.
• The rotisserie fork is attached approximately in the middle of the spit. Now put the
meat on the skewer and slide the second rotisserie fork onto the opposite end of
the spit. Press these firmly into the meat and fasten them.
• Carefully insert the pointed end of the rotisserie spit into the motor and the other
end over the hanger.
• The stop ring is slid over the rotisserie until it passes the inside of the hood. Now
attach the stop ring and the skewer handle.
• Place a metal pan under the meat to catch the dripping fat.
• Adjust the counterweight to ensure the skewer rotates as evenly as possible.
• Light the stern burner as indicated below.
• Before switching on, check whether all hoses and gas fittings are tight.
• Check that all knobs are set to "OFF".
• Open the lid.
• Make sure all grilling surfaces are clean.
• Now set the gas valve to "ON".
• Before using it for the first time, you must burn your vivandio Fyre X Grill free. To do
this, light all the main burners as described below and let them run at the highest
level for 30 minutes (with the lid open). Fats and production residues that are used
for the production are burned off and the grill is cleaned for the first grilling with
food. This process can produce odors, but these will not reoccur later.
General safety instructions for lighting the grill:
• All burners may only be ignited when the lid is open.
• Never bend over the burners.
• In the event of a misfire, wait until the accumulated gas has dissipated before
trying to ignite again to avoid deflagration.
