11.1 Information required by the Ecodesign Directive
The heating element is controlled either by the VTX series
control system or by the VTD-UP room thermostat.
Control system of the VTX series: The heating element is
switched by the VTX-E or VTX-EU radio receiver. The room
temperature is measured by the battery-operated VTX-SP
room thermostat. With the heat-up function activated, the
comfort temperature programmed in the weekly
programming is reached at the set point in time, since the
thermostat controls the heating start adaptively. Open
windows are monitored by the battery-operated VTX-FA or
VTX-FU window contacts and/or the remote control option is
used with the VTX-G gateway.
Room thermostat VTD-UP: The heating element is switched
directly by the room thermostat, which also measures the
room temperature. With the learning function activated, the
comfort temperature programmed in the weekly program is
reached at the set point in time, since the thermostat
controls the heating start adaptively.
