5.1.1 Minimum distances
Observe the following minimum distances for mounting on
the ceiling:
A ≥ 30 cm
B ≥ 60 cm
C ≥ 180 cm
A:
Minimum distance to the wall or other objects in the area
next to the heating element.
B:
Minimum distance to objects in the area below the heating
element.
C:
Minimum distance to the floor.
When mounting "suspended on cables", observe the
following minimum distances:
A ≥ 30 cm
B ≥ 60 cm
C ≥ 250 cm
D ≥ 125 cm
A:
Minimum distance to the wall or other objects in the area
next to the heating element.
B:
Minimum distance to objects in the area below the heating
element.
C:
Minimum distance to the floor.
D:
Minimum distance to any possible location of persons.
5.2
Mounting on the ceiling
Mounting steps:
1. Connect the socket part for the mains connection to the
mains cable – as described in chapter 5.5 Mounting the
socket part on the connection cable on page 28.
2. Mark the drill holes on the ceiling using the punched
holes in the drilling template. Then drill the holes, insert
the dowels and screw the ceiling brackets to the ceiling.
Attention: When mounting the ceiling brackets, please
ensure that the small leg of the ceiling bracket points in
the direction of the arrow as shown on the drilling
template!
