THE
FOLLOWING
SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS
!
The heating element is safely packed by us
after the final inspection. Please check that
the packaging is undamaged on receipt of
the delivery and check the heating element
for transport damage after unpacking. The
heating element must not be used or
installed if the device cover, glass pane or
device plug are damaged. There is an
increased risk of breakage if the edges of
the glass pane are damaged.
Notify your supplier in the event of
damage.
If possible, retain the heating element in its
original packaging until mounting. The
protective strips and corners made of soft
PE foam also protect the glass pane of the
heating element during mounting and
should therefore only be removed
immediately prior to commissioning the
heating system.
ATTENTION:
Keep packaging bags and films
away from children and vulnerable
persons; there is a danger of suffocation!
ATTENTION:
Risk of burns due to hot
surface!
The heating element reaches a surface
temperature of 200°C during operation.
Make sure the heating element has cooled
down before touching it to avoid burns.
CAUTION:
Some parts of the heating
element can become very hot and result in
burns.
Special care should be exercised in the
presence of young people up to the age of
14 and those with reduced physical,
sensory or mental abilities and very severe
and complex disabilities.
Young persons up to the age of 7 must not
be in the vicinity of the heating element or
room thermostat unless they are under
constant supervision.
Young persons over the age of 8 or persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental
abilities may only use the device safely if
they are supervised accordingly or if they
have been informed of the appropriate use
of the device.
Persons with very severe and complex
disabilities may only operate the device
safely if they are constantly supervised.
WARNING:
The heater must not be
covered wherever it is placed in order to
avoid overheating.
WARNING:
The heater must not be used if
the glass pane is damaged.
WARNING:
This device is not equipped
with a room thermostat. The heater must
not be used in small rooms occupied by
persons who cannot leave the room on
their own, unless constant monitoring is
ensured.
WARNING:
Minimum distances between
the heating element and objects as well as
surfaces in the room, such as the wall, the
floor, a couch or a cabinet, must be
observed – as described in chapter
5.1.1 Minimum distances on page 26.
