Check the power cord and power plug peri-
odically.
•
Do not use the unit if the coffee maker body,
the power cord or the power plug is dam-
aged. If the power cord is damaged, it should
be replaced by the manufacturer, a mainte-
nance service or similar qualified personnel
to avoid danger.
•
Do not repair the unit by yourself. Do not dis-
assemble the unit by yourself, if any mal-
function is detected or after it was dropped,
unplug the unit and contact any authorized
service center from the contact address list
given in the warranty certificate and on the
website www.vitek.ru.
•
Transport the unit in the original packag-
ing only.
•
Keep the unit in a dry cool place out of reach
of children and people with disabilities.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE
After unit transportation or storage at low
temperature keep it for at least three hours
at room temperature before switching on.
–
Take the coffee maker out of the package and
remove the packaging materials.
–
Check the unit for damages; do not use it in
case of damages.
–
Make sure that operating voltage of the cof-
fee maker corresponds to the voltage of your
mains.
–
The unit is intended for operation with AC sys-
tem and 50 Hz or 60 Hz frequency. The unit
does not need any additional settings for oper-
ating with the required nominal frequency.
–
Before using the coffee maker for the first
time, wash all removable parts (2, 9, 10, 13)
with warm water and neutral detergent and
dry them.
BEFORE USING THE UNIT
Notes: - if you switched the coffee maker on
and don’t do anything, the coffee maker would
be switched off in 25 minutes.
Before making coffee wash the coffee maker
boiler.
•
Remove the water tank (2), fill it with cold
water up to the «MAX» mark and install it back
to its place.
•
Insert one coffee filter (9) into the holder (10),
do not add ground coffee into the filter (9).
•
Install the filter holder (10) back to its instal-
lation place. The filter holder (10) ledges
should match the groves on the boiler «
»,
after that turn the filter holder handle (7) to
the utmost right position «
».
•
Place a suitable cup on the tray grid (6).
•
Insert the power plug into the mains socket.
•
Switch the coffee maker on by pressing the
button (17) « », you will hear a sound signal
and the button (17) illumination will light up,
the buttons (15, 16) «
» illumination will
light up and start flashing. Wait until water in the
boiler heats up, the buttons (15, 16) «
,
»
illumination will be glowing constantly.
•
Press the button (15) «
», the pump will
switch on for 3 seconds; after a pause the
pump will be switched on and the water will
be supplied constantly. After the cup is filled
with water, switch the water supply off by
pressing the button (15) «
» again, pour
the water out of the cup.
•
Depending on the cup capacity repeat this
procedure several times until the boiler is
clean.
ATTENTION!
–
Do not remove the filter holder (10) during
coffee maker operation.
–
To remove the filter holder (10) turn the filter
holder handle to the utmost left position «
»
and remove the holder (10).
Washing the cappuccinator pipe (4)
and the removable tip (5)

Make sure that there is enough water in the
water tank (2).
•
Place a suitable cup under the tip (5).
•
Switch the coffee maker on by pressing the
button (13) «

•
Press the steam supply button (9) «
».
•
Turn the steam supply control knob (3) to
the position «
», steam will start going out
from the cappuccinator pipe (4) tip (5), be
careful while operating with outgoing steam,
after 10-15 seconds set the control knob (3)
to the position «
