Keep children and animals away from the packaging

Children younger than 8 years of age and animals must be kept away from the device
and the connecting cable.
■
Danger of burns from battery acid!

Batteries can be deadly if swallowed. The battery and remote control should
therefore be kept out of the reach of children and animals. If a battery is swallowed,
immediate medical attention must be sought.

If the battery has leaked, do not allow your skin, eyes and mucous membranes to
come into contact with the battery acid. Wear protective gloves if necessary. If you
touch battery acid, rinse the a
ff
ected areas with abundant clear water straight away
and seek medical assistance immediately.

Danger of tripping!
Make sure that the connecting cable does not present a trip
hazard.
WARNING – Danger of Fire
■
Do not use the device in rooms containing easily ignitable or explosive substances.
■
Do not cover the device during operation in order to prevent it from catching
fi
re.
■
Unwind the connecting cable fully before connecting to the mains power.
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property
■
Only connect the mains adapter to a properly installed plug socket. The plug socket
must also be readily accessible after connection so that the connection to the mains
can quickly be isolated. The mains voltage must match the rating plate of the device
and the mains adapter.

The device must be switched o
ff
when the mains adapter is pulled out or inserted into
the plug socket.
■
Make sure that the connecting cable is not squashed, bent or laid over sharp edges
and does not come into contact with hot surfaces.
■
Switch o
ff
the device and pull the mains adapter out of the plug socket if an error
occurs during operation or before a thunderstorm.
■
When the mains adapter is removed from the plug socket, always pull on the mains
adapter and never the mains cable.
■
Do not pull or carry the device by the connecting cable. Never wind the mains cable
around the device or mains adapter.
■
Use only the battery type speci
fi
ed in the technical data.
■
Remove the battery when it is dead or if you will not be using the device for a pro-
longed period. This will prevent any damage caused by leaks.
■
Remove a leaking battery immediately.
■
Batteries must not be charged or reactivated in any way, disassembled, thrown into a
fi
re, immersed in liquids or short-circuited.
