Before Initial Use
PLEASE NOTE!

There may still be some production residues on the device. The device should be
cleaned before you use it for the
fi
rst time.
■
Never remove the rating plate and any possible warnings!
1. Peel any
fi
lms or stickers that may be present off the device.
2. Clean the device (see the “Cleaning and Storage” chapter).
3. Place the device on a dry, level,
fi
rm, moisture-resistant and heat-resistant surface.
4. The mains plug should be connected to a socket that has been properly installed.
5. Carry out an operation as described in the “Use” chapter to remove possible
production residues.
Important!
Do not hold your face in front of the steam outlet
opening (

The device is now ready for operation!
Safety Features
The device has dry-running and overheating protection. If there is no more water in the
water tank or if the device becomes too hot, it switches off automatically. In this case,
allow the device to cool down before cold water is poured in and the device is used again.
Tips
• Using the device makes it easier to remove make-up.
• We recommend that with normal skin the device should be used no more than two to
three times a week; with sensitive skin it should be used no more than once a week.
Excessive use can have a negative effect on the skin.
• Care for and apply cream to the skin after treatment so that the skin does not dry out.

Do not place the face or other parts of the body too
close to the steam outlet opening.

A treatment should last for no more than 10 minutes, i.e. approx. one full tank of water!
■
Never pour additives such as care products, aromatic oils or similar products into the
water tank. This may destroy the device and safe working is no longer guaranteed.

Do not over

ll the water tank (note the
MAX
marking!).
• We recommend pouring cold distilled water into the water tank to prevent
calci
fi
cation.
• Water residues in the water tank are attributable to quality checks performed
prior to delivery and do not constitute a defect.
