6.3 Setting the device data
2 1 Select "Device data settings."
Note:
Exporting firing and process data:
•
The firing and process data are saved in the control unit and can be exported to a USB drive using the "Process data" button.
To do this, plug the USB drive into the USB input and press the "process data" button.
• You can use a USB drive to export the data for the program used to analyze the process data (Firing Data System, FDS) to your PC.
Exporting operating data/device information/all data
•
All the program sequences and operating data are automatically saved in the control unit. If a finished firing program has produced
an unsatisfactory firing result, for example, or an error has occurred in the program sequence, the operating data, the device
information or even all the device data can be exported to a USB drive and sent to instruments-service@vita-zahnfabrik.com for
evaluation. To do this, plug a USB drive into the USB input and press the corresponding button to transfer the operating data/device
information/all the data to the USB drive.

6.4 Setting the start profile
2 1 Select "Start profile settings."
Note:
•
Select the user profile you want to be displayed when the device is first switched on. On new devices, the "Lab" profile is
loaded when the control unit starts up.
• Select the required profile and confirm.
• The new start profile is first displayed when restarting the device.
