Video Setup
Selecting Video Setup from the Setup menu will enter the Video Setup menu.
Video Full Screen
• WIDE
will cause a 720p screen to be displayed with a 16:9 aspect ratio suitable for HDTV. (Factory default
mode)
• NORMAL
will fix the video output to VGA mode with a 4:3 aspect ratio.
Video Clip Process
• AUTO
will use the progressive/interlace information embedded in the bit-stream. (Factory default mode)
• FILM
always assumes progressive scan and is suitable for film or other progressive scan sources.
• VIDEO
assumes interlace at all times.

Selecting SMART when the video clip is interlaced is the same as FILM above. When the video clip uses
progressive scan additional vertical processing is applied. This mode is for when there is limited motion.

Selecting SUPER SMART when the video clip is interlaced is the same as FILM above. When the video clip
uses progressive scan pixel based motion adaptive de-interlacing is activated.
MPEG4 Subtitle Page
• ON
will cause of the MPEG4 subtitle to be displayed (Factory default mode).
• OFF
will turn off the MPEG4 subtitle.
The subtitle text file (e.g., .abc .srt) must be in the same directory as the MPEG file (e.g., .abc .avi) for the subtitle to be
displayed.
Main Page
Select MAIN PAGE to return to the Setup Main Page screen.
