TRUSS FRAME
TIE IN PLATE

LIFT THE ENTIRE TRUSS FRAME ASSEMBLY UP ON TOP OF THE WALLS OF THE
STRUCTURE. CAREFULLY SHUFFLE THE ASSEMBLY ON TOP OF THE WALL UNTIL IT IS
AS CLOSE TO POSITION AS YOU CAN GET IT.
BEGINNING IN ONE CORNER OF THE GAZEBO, ALIGN THE OUTSIDE OF THE WALLS
FLUSH WITH THE OUTSIDE OF THE TRUSS FRAME ASSEMBLY. SECURE THE TRUSS
FRAME TO THE TOP OF THE WALLS WITH 2 1/2" HEX HEAD SCREWS DOWN THROUGH
THE 2x4 PLATE OF THE TRUSS FRAME ASSEMBLY INTO THE TOP OF EACH WALL PANEL,
AS SHOWN BELOW. USE AT LEAST TWO SCREWS PER PANEL AS SHOWN. USE THREE
SCREWS ON THE WINDOW PANELS AND FOUR ON THE DOOR PANEL. ON EACH GABLE
END USE

THROUGH DADO IN THE TOP TIE PLATE PIECE AS
SHOWN IN

GOING AROUND THE ENTIRE STRUCTURE, CONTINUE TO KEEP THE OUTSIDE OF THE
WALLS FLUSH WITH OUTSIDE OF THE TRUSS FRAME. SCREW THE TRUSS FRAME DOWN
AS YOU MOVE ALONG THE PERIMETER OF THE GAZEBO AS SHOWN IN
DETAIL 1

IF YOU HAVE A BAY WALL, YOU MUST
LINE UP BOTH CORNERS ONTO THE BAY WALL
FIRST. THEN MOVE ON TO THE REST OF THE
WALLS.
